View Detailed Application Crash Information In Windows 7/Vista With AppCrashView
Want to find out why an application has crashed on your PC? One way to investigate is to use the Reliability Monitor, present in Windows 7/Vista, that lets you view all application crashes, Windows errors, warnings, and other failures and check for any available solutions. Or you could use AppCrashView, a free and portable utility that gives you detailed information for all program crashes that occurred in your system.
AppCrashView currently works only with Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008 due to it’s dependency on .wer files (Windows Error Reporting) for extracting the crash data. The details of the crashes include the time of the event, the user name under which the system was logged in, exception code, and the name of the process. You can export the crash list to a text, CSV, or HTML file for later investigation.
