Instantly Resize Images By Dropping Them Into Folder!

Fed up of opening image editor for resizing them one by one? How about just dropping the image to be resized to a drop box and get resized image instantly!  DropResize Box is a free handy utility for resizing images. The program is standalone (portable) and hence doesn’t need any installation.With just a few KB size, this cute little program really does a great job it is set to do. It acts like a watch dog scanning a folder in which you drop images. As you drop image into the configured folder, the program immediately scans it and resizes it to the image specifications you have set.

Here is how you can configure DropResize Box to resize images:

1. Download DropResize Box from link given at the bottom.

2. Create a folder on desktop where you want to drop the images to be resized. For instance name it as “Images to Resize”.

3. Double-click on it. Now right-click on the program icon in the taskbar and choose”Configure”.

3. Click on “Add” button and then browse through folder that you created on the desktop.

4. In General tab of Options section, set desired parameters. Custom size for image is available. You have the option to convert the image to Greyscale. The program allows you to keep a backup of the original image.

5. In Advanced tab, you can specify whether to include EXIF Data (Meta data). EXIF data is a piece of information added by Camera with information such as Camera Make, Model, Date of Photo taken, Date Modified, Owner etc. Uncheck the box if you don’t want to include metadata in resized images.

6. Click “Apply” and then “OK”. That’s it you are done. DropResize Box will now do the rest for you. Just drag and drop image to the folder!
