Image Editing is always fun. Photos taken from Mobile Phones and Cameras aren’t always perfect considering the ambient conditions. Lighting, exposure, saturation etc if modified give images a good facelift and make it look much better than the original one.

There are many professional image editing applications like Adobe Photoshop, Ulead PhotoImpact etc which are expensive and require  dedicated time for learning and using. For basic photo editing , you need not have professional photo editing software. There are lots of freeware and online tools to do it. Yet another good and popular freeware is Photoscape, which is very easy to use and lets you finish your editing task in no time.

Features of Photoscape

The tabbed interface is simple. Photoscape has an inbuilt viewer to view your photos as slideshow.  Photoscape editor mode includes editing, resizing, brightness and color adjustment, white balance, backlight correction, frames, balloons, mosaic mode, adding text, drawing pictures, cropping, filters, red eye removal, blooming etc.

Photoscape supports editing photos in Batch mode. With Page mode you can merge multiple photos in one photo frame by just dragging and dropping.

Combine mode lets you make one photo by attaching multiple photos vertically or horizontally.

With Photoscape’s AniGIF you can create GIF images. Drag and drop the images for for which you need animation, specify time for each frame and create your own animated GIF.

Print mode has some good preset features. You can print portrait shot, passport photo, Wallet, Pocket and many other sizes.

Photoscape has lots of other useful features like Photo Splitter with which you can divide a photo into multiple parts. A Batch mode file renaming feature makes your photo organizing easier.
