Google gives Quick Search Box to Mac

Google has released a Quick Search Box for Mac. It is an open source utility that allows users to search data on computer and internet. Google Search Box allows you to launch applications and perform search results with ease.

It is similar to Windows version of Google Desktop. The main difference between Google Desktop and Google Quick Search Box is that you can launch applications (similiar to Launchy) with Quick Search Box which is not possible in Google Desktop.
