Garmin Voice Studio Lets You Customize Your Nuvi Voice Directions

Ever wished you could change that voice that gives you instructions from your Garmin Nuvi device? Now you can, thanks to Garmin Voice Studio, a free software available from Garmin website. With Garmin Voice Studio, you can record all the instructions in your own voice or some one else’s voice and upload it to your GPS device.

So the next time you are driving with Garmin nüvi’s help, listen to your favorite voice giving you commands, just like they were talking to you directly. The program lets you record each phrase that is needed to create instructions by your Garmin device, one after the other. You can record, test, trim and play back the recording till you are satisfied with the outcome.

Compatible devices include aera^™ series, GPSMAP^® 620 & 640, nüvi^® 200-series, nüvi 205-series, nüvi 500-series, nüvi 700-series, nüvi 705-series, nüvi 800-series, nüvi 1200-series, nüvi 1300-series, nüvi 1400-series, nüvi 1600-series, nüvi 5000, and zūmo^® 660.
