The iPhone Dev Team has updated Redsn0w to 0.9.5 Beta, adding support for the latest iOS 4.0 GM and also iPod Touch 2G. Along with this, redsn0w 0.9.5 Beta now also supports optional multitasking and homescreen wallpaper, which are disabled by Apple.

Currently redsn0w 0.9.5 Beta supports iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G, on Mac OS X. It needs iTunes 9.2, which is currently available for download only on Mac OSX, for developers with UDID. Aimed to help iPhone jailbreak app developers, this one is not recommended for normal users.

Note: Stay away from redsn0w 0.9.5 Beta if you rely on a carrier unlock as iOS 4.0 updates  your baseband.
