Game Update Maker is a free program which lets you compare two directories, one outdated and the other updated one, to find out what all files have changed in the latest version. It then copies all these different files to another directory, thus letting you easily browse and edit the outdated files.

The original intention of this little piece of software was for creating update packs for games, so that users can be given only incremental updates to games instead of the whole re-downloads. However you can use the application in many other scenarios when you want to compare two versions of your data in order to maintain their synchronized copies, including your backup folders, program source code, Word documents, and so on.
