Clear Specific Firefox History Automatically With CacheFire

Are you concerned about losing your privacy due to browsing history? One way to ensure privacy is to clean up all your browsing history from time to time either manually or using utilities such as CCleaner, NetGuard, etc. Or you could use ‘Private Browsing’ mode which deletes all browsing history when you exit the browser.

Both the above methods have their own drawbacks. In case of manual deletion, you may forget to do it sometimes and in case of Private Browsing, this mode doesn’t work very well with some extensions/add-ons. Also you may want to keep some websites in the cache so that they load faster.

CacheFire, a free application, removes only those pages from Firefox history, as specified by you. You can give URLs of websites, or partial strings to match a URL. For instance, if you enter ‘YouTube’, CacheFire will remove any webpage whose URL contains this string from your Firefox history.
