Automatically Geo-Tag Photos Using Picmeta Photo Tracker
By Geo-tagging photos you can add geographical information to your pictures, there by letting you make better memories of your travel pictures. Also many online image sharing and social networking sites now support geo coded photos, some of them even present photos on a map.
Here is a free utility, Picmeta PhotoTracker, which automatically geo tags a batch of photos based on the track data from GPS exchange files (.gpx format). By connecting your GPS receiver with your digital camera, you can now create geo-coded photos in a few clicks. Picmeta does not destroy the metadata of the images, such as EXIF, IPTC, or Makernote data while geo-tagging them.
